Omron Electronic Components has appointed Eastern Europe catalogue supplier, Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME), as its franchised distributor for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
Following the agreement, TME has already put in place a stock profile covering over 1,000 lines of Omron switches, relays, connectors and sensor components. These will be supplied from its ISO9001 qualified distribution hub in Lodz, Poland.
Distribution manager EMEA, at Omron, Alex Grout, commented: “TME touches a lot of customers in Eastern Europe that we’re not currently dealing with. It has a strong presence in a key market for us, that it has built up by providing good technical support and logistical service. I believe TME will extend our coverage of this region and can expand our market share.”
President of the board of TME, Zbigniew Kuczy?ski, added: “Omron Electronic Components is a recognised leader in electromechanical components and sensor technologies and we are delighted to have added them to our range.”
