Intersil Corporation, a leading provider of innovative power management and precision analog solutions, today announced that it has joined the HDcctv Alliance Ltd. Intersil is a market leader in security and surveillance systems and will be contributing to the Alliance’s work to define open standards for interoperability of HD cameras, recording devices, and related equipment in the HD video surveillance sector.“Intersil’s commitment to surveillance system interoperability is reflected in our development of industry-leading four-channel 960H and Security Link Over Coax (SLOC) products,” said Susan Hardman, senior vice president, Specialty Products. “We will be working closely with the other members of the HDcctv Alliance to develop the industry standards required to ensure global market expansion.”
