Following the first ES LIVE one day event in Boston on October 3 2013, and having assessed feedback from exhibitors and visitors who attended, we have made the decision to suspend the one day event scheduled for March 13, 2014 in San Jose.
It is clear that we need to hold future North American ES LIVE events in that are much more convenient for our readers. Downtown locations have proved difficult with traffic, expensive car parking and being generally hard to get to.
Future ES LIVE events will focus on key features such as Lunch & Learn seminars, more exhibitors, and more principal component manufacturers. We will also be putting together an elected event steering committee to ensure we are meeting the needs of everyone involved.
To ensure future North American ES LIVE events exceed our exhibitors and visitors expectations we will be putting both US events on hold whilst we implement a new strategy with revised pricing, content and promotion. These details will be released in due course.
For any companies who operate in or target the European sector please be aware that ES LIVE UK takes place on Thursday the 15th of May, 2013. This event now in its fourth year features over 100+ exhibitors and 1,000 visitors.
I am confident that by postponing and re-aligning our North American ES LIVE events we will provide a more targeted and beneficial one day show for everyone concerned.
