Insulated Wire designs and manufactures electrical wire/cable products including: hook up wire and data cable (twisted pairs); coaxial cable (low loss/phase stable, hand-formable and semi- rigid); custom composites and cable assemblies. IW processes raw materials in house, manufacturing products using its proprietary method for laminating Teflon to create the cable core. IW offers low MOQ on standard/custom cable designs, with options for jacket color and type.
The company supports high performance applications including land/sea/ airborne defense platforms in EW, radar and comms systems, plus medical, test/measurement and EMC applications. IW has two facilities on Long Island, NY, both AS9100 certified and supported by a worldwide network of representatives and agents, including Castle Microwave for the UK and Ireland.
Castle Microwave’s 15 strong team supports a diverse customer base across the UK. Available technologies include: board level devices for small and large signal RF circuit designs; a rapid prototyping system using RF tile technology; a broad range of RF modules; turn key high power amplifiers, filters, waveguide and interconnect products up to 110GHz.
Castle partners with software tool providers with dedicated applications engineering from pre-sales to in service support. For test and measurement applications, the company provides off-the-shelf and custom solutions for a wide range of applications including on-wafer testing, measurement uncertainty analysis tools, and bench top RF test equipment.
