Lane Electronics is now offering LMF and LMG connectors families and accessories manufactured in the UK by Weald Electronics. Both families suit cable to panel or cable to cable connections and are designed for exposed, harsh environments such as mining, construction, offshore, wind farms and oil/gas platforms.
LMF and LMG connectors are available with one to 37 contacts and housed in a range of shell styles and sizes. Two shell materials are available: aluminium with fine thread coupling, suitable for lightweight use; and brass, with coarse thread coupling, suitable for more rugged applications. Both types are IP67 rated and maintain high levels of mechanical strength and corrosion protection. Brass eliminates the need for protective plating and requires no in-service maintenance.
Accessories includes straight and angled outlets for screened and unscreened cables and conduits, metal and polymer protective caps and assembly tooling.The LMF range was formerly known as Plessey MK4, while the LMG range was formerly known as Plessey MK7 (Patt 104).
