In this article, Relec Electronics introduces purchasing professionals to Adel System’s FLEX range of power supplies, including models optimised for building automation.
In industrial automation and control, reliability and efficiency are essential. The backbone of these systems often lies in the quality of the power supplies. Adel System’s FLEX range is designed to offer power flexibility and efficiency, with options for one, two and three-phase input up to 500 W and current ratings up to 25 A.
Regarding flexibility, the units are capable of delivering up to 150 per cent of rated current for up to three minutes, ensuring systems receive consistent, reliable power. Their operating temperatures is -25 to 70°C—suiting harsh environments—while their compact size saves space in control panels.
The range includes three short-circuit overload protections: Hiccup Mode, Fold Back and Restart after mains outages, ensuring maximum safety and reliability. To simplify inventory management, single-phase 115 to 230 VAC and two- phase 230 to 500 VAC inputs are offered.
The range conforms to EN61010-2, UL508 and EN 60204-1and EN/IEC 60529 (IP20 protection class).
For buyers needing power solutions specifically tailored for building automation, the DFLEX range is the go-to. Designed with flexibility and reliability in mind, these 15 and 60 W power supplies excel in distribution boards and flat control panels.
Their wide input voltage range handles inputs from 90 to 305 VAC, providing robust performance across various conditions. Flexible mounting options include DIN rail or level surface, adapting to specific installation needs.
DFLEX15W can provide up to 20W and DFLEX60W up to 72 W, for up to three minutes ensuring systems can handle short current spikes. Adjustable DC output can be finetunedvia a convenient trimmer.
Protection Class II suits building automation without requiring a safety earth connection, while short circuit and overload protection feature Hiccup Mode with automatic restart, maintaining system stability and safety. Safety and approvals include EN62368-1 with UL listing pending.
Whether buyers are upgrading existing systems or designing new ones, these two ranges are designed to deliver the required performance, reliability and efficiency.
