Mouser Electronics is now stocking ScioSense’s ENS21x digital humidity and temperature sensors. The sensors are designed to provide ultra-accurate sensing, including temperature measurements accurate to ±0.1°C and relative humidity measurements accurate to ±0.8 per cent RH. The family provides measurements tailored to the needs of building automation, smart homes, instrumentation and IoT devices.
The sensors offer a wide sensing range, accurately measuring temperatures from -40 to 125ºC and relative humidity from 0 to 100 per cent. The sensors suit energy-critical designs, automatically entering low-power standby mode when inactive, with a standby current of just 40 nA. In addition, the sensors feature an I2C interface for efficient communication with an external host processor.
The sensors are housed in a 2.0mm² by 0.75 mm QFN4 package, allowing easy integration into wearables, mobile technology and other space-constrained devices. The sensors come with pre-calibrated Kelvin and relative humidity outputs, enabling precise readings from the first use.
