Rutronik is expanding its connector portfolio with Molex’ Mini-Fit family. Designed for an operating temperature of -40 to 125°C, the connectors are available in board-to-board, wire-to-board and wire-to-wire configurations. They deliver up to 13.0 A, while options for dummy plugs and terminal position locking create a versatile connector system.
All versions are backwards compatible and they suit application sectors including automotive, industrial, telecommunications, networking or medical. Mini-Fit works at a nominal power up to 600 VAC/DC and has a dielectric strength of 2,200 VAC and insulation resistance of 10 mΩ. Thanks to the terminal position lock with a secondary locking option, they reduce assembly errors and ensure terminals are seated correctly.
The connectors are RoHS compliant and meet flammability standard UL 94V-0. As an example, Mini-Fit Sigma offers housing stability; a sealing cap holder supporting the rear rubber cap; 30 per cent lower mating force for improved ergonomics; and coding and polarization for precise mating.
