Smith has announced its Amsterdam distribution centre is certified to ISO 13485. Smith’s operational headquarters in Houston, Texas, received accreditation in December 2017.
ISO 13485 certification defines standards for organisations that provide medical devices and related products or services. Obtaining this certification further demonstrates Smith’s ability to properly source, inspect, test, store and distribute components that meet its medical- manufacturing customers’ stringent requirements for quality assurance.
