Mouser Electronics is now shipping Renesas Electronics’ RRH47000 CO2 sensor module, a high-accuracy, single-channel, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) module for reliable CO2 monitoring and high-quality metrics to improve air quality in industrial building controls, HVAC, indoor air control (IAQ), smart cities, factories, appliances, demand-controlled ventilation, air purifiers, wireless access points and IoT applications.
The RRH47000 features automatic baseline calibration (ABC) for measurement from zero to 5000ppm, with an integrated MCU for processing and output, combined with a single-channel non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) CO2 sensor with an integrated humidity and temperature sensor, featuring ±3.5 per cent relative humidity (RH) sensitivity for accuracy. With a -10 to 50°C operation range, the RRH47000 eliminates the need for additional compensation components, suiting applications that must meet standards like California’s Title 24, RESET Grade B, WELL, UBA and ASHRAE 62.2.
Mouser also offers the RRH47000-EVK evaluation kit for the sensor module, enabling simultaneous carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature and humidity measurements via the RRH47000 daughterboard.
