Mouser Electronics is now stocking Molex’s MX-DaSH wire-to-wire connector system. The system combines power, ground and high-speed data connectivity in a single connector system. It supports the transition to zonal architecture in automotive and commercial applications, including autonomous driving modules, computing modules, high-speed cable networking, sensor-device connectivity, high-resolution 4k displays, GPS devices and infotainment systems.
The system is a unified solution for compact connectivity in electronic control unit controllers and computers. It replaces multiple traditional connectors in in-vehicle applications, saving space and reducing the cost and complexity of wiring harnesses. The series offers configurations to support different power and signal terminal sizes, including 1.20, 1.50 and 2.80 mm.
MX-DaSH offers up to 31 circuits with high-speed FAKRA Mini (HFM) modules for high-speed data transmission. The connectors operate reliably in harsh environments and provide secure mating via industry-leading independent secondary lock, pin protection plate and blade protections. Automated assembly reduces cycle times, prevents errors and improves overall manufacturing process efficiency.
