The move to a new 3,000 m² production facility in 2014 and gaining automotive IATF 16949 certification in 2016 demonstrated Volburg’s commitment to quality output which secured partnerships with large international off-road vehicle manufacturers.
Becoming part of the Swedish Matorex group provides Volburg with enhanced resources, a broader market reach and integrated services through sister companies. The combined revenue of EUR 50 million signifies a robust collective capability which supports larger projects and increases overall competitiveness.
Capabilities include: two SMT lines; two selective soldering lines; wave soldering line; flying probe ICT line; two conformal coating robots and manual processes. Volburg offers SMT, THT assembly, testing, firmware flashing, coating, potting, prototyping, final assembly and packaging.
