Alpha and Omega Semiconductor announced its Mega IPM7 series intelligent power modules. Offering an efficient, compact and durable design, the series is optimized for brushless DC (BLDC) motor drivebased designs, including home appliance applications such as air-conditioners, refrigerators, dishwashers and power tools.

The Mega IPM7 series is offered in multiple packages, including the Mega IPM7-DT, Mega7 DBC and Mega7 exposed package, letting customers select the package that best suits their heat dissipation performance specifications and other application-specific requirements.
