Larasian Group Announces ‘Cabinet Reshuffle’ at Corintech and Lascar

image003The Larasian Group has enacted a ‘cabinet reshuffle’ with the Managing Directors of its two electronics companies switching roles with immediate effect.  Pete Cross, formerly at Lascar, will take the reins at Corintech, whilst Sean Wigmore moves to Lascar from Corintech.

Sean Wigmore had been at Corintech for 27 years, working his way up to the top position from a graduate role in Quality Assurance.  Pete Cross had spent the last 14 years at Lascar, four of which as MD.  Between them they have a considerable range of experience which can now be shared across the whole Group.

In the coming months both companies will be reviewing all aspects of the business so that existing relationships can be built upon, strengths can be encouraged, improvements made and efficiencies implemented.  There will also be some restructuring to allow the creation of new teams designed to focus on customers’ specific needs and future requirements.

Corintech Ltd. offers a complete, experienced contract electronics manufacturing service covering everything from printed circuit board design and assembly, to full product build.  Their product design service takes projects from concept through to manufacture and their range of thermometers and sensors specialise in touch screen and wifi technology.

Lascar Electronics is a leading provider of digital panel instruments, data loggers and custom design and manufacturing solutions. Lascar’s EasyLog data loggers are the world’s first direct USB data loggers, providing a cost effective, easy-to-use method of recording temperature, humidity, voltage, 4-20mA and carbon monoxide. Their extensive range of panel instruments and voltmeters provide display solutions for a wide range of applications within the instrumentation and sensors industries.

Larasian CEO, Rod Piwowarski said “Our Group figures are looking excellent for 2013 but never one to rest on our laurels we decided that looking forward, a ‘cabinet reshuffle’ would benefit the continued growth and development of the Group.  Having worked with both Pete and Sean for many years I know that they’ll bring invaluable expertise and fresh insight to their respective new companies”.
