Positronic is pleased to announce that Mark Harper has been named Vice President of Operations. In this role, Harper will plan, direct, and oversee global operations for the company. He will lead Positronic in delivering a world-class experience to customers and ensure the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective methods for Positronic.
Mark Harper began at Positronic in March 2018 as Site Leader for the company’s Missouri Operations. Through excellent leadership and experience in implementing continuous improvement programs, Harper has already helped Positronic stand out as a superior supplier in the industry.
“Mark has done an excellent job of advancing our Missouri Operations in its continuous improvement journey and leading our global sites to make enhancements,” states Greg Rocque, President of Positronic. “In his new role, I am confident that he will help Positronic excel as a formidable supplier in the electronics marketplace.”
Mark Harper has 30 years’ experience in diverse operations, previously working in the fenestration, steel tank fabrication, and oil and chemical industries. He also brings experience in strategy and direction for operations and continuous improvement from his role as President at WinTech in Monett, Missouri, and Vice President of Manufacturing at All State Tank in Grove, Oklahoma. Mark served on the Missouri Association of Manufacturers Board of Directors for several years and is a past President. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of Missouri Enterprise, the NIST supported Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) for the state of Missouri. Mark has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, an MS degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University in South Carolina, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University near Chicago.
