Hamamatsu Photonics invites engineers and buyers to explore its capabilities which range from 15,000 standard products to bespoke, in-house developed solutions
Specialising in optoelectronic components and systems, Hamamatsu Photonics’ corporate philosophy stresses the advancement of society through photonics, achieving this via research which yields state-of-the-art products. The company’s products provide the ability to work within the entire optical spectrum and provide solutions for a variety of applications including analytical, consumer, industrial and medical instrumentation.
Hamamatsu Photonics offers an extensive range of components and systems supporting the development of cutting-edge technologies driving the future of industry. From component level image sensors to integrated spectrometers and cameras, Hamamatsu offers products for all levels of integration.
At this years’ ECS the company is showcasing a range of optoelectronic components including photo ICs, LEDs, Silicon + InGaAs photodiodes and silicon photomultipliers (MPPCs). However, if a product specification does not meet a customer’s needs, Hamamatsu’s in-house manufacturing capabilities let it offer customised solutions for specific requirements. This is supported by the recently established European-based Rapid Design Group which assists clients in developing prototypes smoothly and efficiently using locally based engineers.
With over 15,000 standard products in its line-up, Hamamatsu can also offer a variety of application specific components and sub-modules. These include: UV Trons for flame detection; flat panel sensors for x-ray detection; and MEMS mirrors for machine vision and laser ranging. If a project makes use of light from any part of the electromagnetic spectrum, Hamamatsu invites engineers and buyers to explore its capabilities.
