OKW has added tough new Solid-Box to its range of plastic enclosures for test and measurement electronics. Offering IP66, IP67 and IK08 impact protection, the enclosures suit devices used in challenging industrial and outdoor environments. Applications include: plant/ machinery, HVAC, IoT/IIoT, gateways, data loggers, ICT, electrical, agriculture and safety engineering.
These polished enclosures can be installed lid-closed, ensuring any finely calibrated electronics inside remains accurate. The lid is recessed for a membrane keypad, while the bottom has deep recesses to protect connectors.
Three models are available: 115 (135 by 115 by 50mm), 145 (180 by 145 by 60mm) and 175 (225 by 175 by 70mm). Mounting points on the rear of the 145 and 175 match the hole patterns of VESA MIS-D 75/100. They are moulded from PC+ABS (UL94V-0) in anthracite grey (RAL7016) or light grey (RAL7035) as standard.
