Binder’s new PBC15 power bayonet connector suits power supply and signal linking of devices via one cable. Features of this compact, quick locking connector are tailored for fast wiring and installation.
Its size corresponds to M15, bridging the gap between M12 and M23 designs. The connector suits power supplies, particularly to three-phase motors or frequency converters. The component features three power pins, two additional pins for signal transmission, plus a protective earth contact.
The PBC15 design is specified within the DIN EN IEC 61076-2-116 standard. The quick-lock ensures simple, fast and reliable locking via a quarter turn. Screw clamps provide termination. The PBC15 is initially available as wireable female or male cable connectors, unshielded or shieldable.
With rated values of 630V and 16A for the power interface, the connector suits small to medium- sized drives. With rated values of 63V and 10A, the signal pins can be used to control brakes or query operating parameters such as temperatures.
