Quantum Dots technology displays can produce a colour gamut up to 50 per cent higher than standard display panels. Use of mini-LED backlights stops leakage of lights from traditional LED backlights, while providing better backlight performance and dimming control. The result is deeper blacks and more vibrant colours. Energy efficiency in this technology is also higher when compared to traditional technology, with up to 50 per cent less power consumed. This energy performance can be attributed to the better backlight and dimming control.
