Busbars added to energy product portfolio

TTI IP&E Europe is now stocking Molex busbars to support the design of next-generation battery energy storage systems (BESS) and meet society’s growing energy storage capacity requirements. Electronics engineers can benefit from high stock availability and TTI Europe’s expertise from a single source.

TTI Europe’s director of industry marketing, Markus Lorenz, said: “To meet Europe’s target of achieving 45 per cent energy generation from renewable sources by 2030, 187 GW of energy storage capacity are required, and by 2050, the region will need 600 GW.

Busbars are the backbone of reliable power distribution and a critical component in battery energy storage systems. Molex busbars, available in a range of shapes and sizes, can be specified to enhance the performance of battery storage solutions and reduce energy loss.

TTI Europe stocks a wide range of Molex busbars, including rigid busbars available in copper and aluminium, as well as sheet, bar and rod form options, providing an effective and efficient means of delivering high power. Braided busbars are also available, offering increased flexibility.
