New power module for drones and airborne

SynQor’s latest military-grade isolated power factor correction module—MPFICQor—is designed for the demanding requirements of airborne applications, such as underwing pods and ordnance systems in aircraft and drones. It’s now available across Europe and beyond through the global electronics distributor and supply chain partner, Astute Group.

The module is designed to provide efficient and dependable performance, even at lower power levels, suiting applications where size, weight and power consumption are critical considerations. It can accept both three phase, 115 VAC or 270 VDC to allow for interoperability.

Efficiency is paramount in airborne applications, and the module delivers with a 92 per cent efficiency rating. This improves system performance and facilitates superior thermal management, reducing heat generation and extending operational life.

Offered in the industry-standard full-brick form factor, the module is designed to meet strict size, weight and power (SWaP) requirements. Its compact size and lightweight design make it ideal for integration into space-constrained airborne platforms.
