Advanced Rework Technology is partnering with the IPC, Jaltek Systems and Nano Electronic Services, to deliver an industry workshop titled ‘Insight into Electronics Manufacturing’, hosted at Jaltek’s facility in Luton, Bedfordshire on Wednesday 2 April 2025.
Open to local job seekers and school, college and university job seekers, the workshop aims to encourage prospective technicians to find out more about the role and industry—and for local electronics businesses to promote their facilities and vacancies.
The half-day workshop will include informative seminar sessions that talk people through the industry, the opportunities that are available and the benefits of a career in electronics manufacturing. At a 30-minute hands-on soldering workshop, attendees can learn to solder a small working LED board they can take home. The job fair will showcase local electronics businesses and promote current vacancies they have available. Jaltek will also host a tour of its facility.
The workshop is free for attendees and light refreshments will be provided.
