Charcroft Electronics has completed the acquisition of Sensor Techniques, a distributor of load cells and strain gauges used in weighing and force measurement for over 20 years.
The cells and gauges are used in industrial, harsh and ATEX-rated environments, plus applications in automotive/transport weighbridges, elevated platforms/scissor lifts in construction and for tensioning/weighing in agricultural applications.
Charcroft director, Debbie Rowland, said: “The ability to provide a fast service, with a high level of technical support, is critical to ensure that customers can source the right solution for each application.
“Sensor Techniques founder, Rob Forrest, will continue to work closely with Charcroft to add decades of expertise to the knowledge of our established team of field-based engineers, which includes sensor specialist, Matt Fellows.”
In addition to precision load cells and strain gauges, Sensor Techniques simplifies procurement and design by offering mounting arrangements and controllers, intelligent high-speed load cell amplifiers and state-of-the-art weighing indicators.
