After almost 10 years in charge of Danielson Europe BV, Peter Boerdijk will be retiring as managing director on May 1st.
Under his leadership, the three Danielson businesses in Amersfoort, Hardenberg and Aylesbury (UK) have been integrated into one company. During the past few years, Danielson has become one of the most prominent companies in Europe in the field of capacitive touch screens. With the acquisition of Danielson by the Swiss SCHURTER Group Peter Boerdijk has created the perfect environment for further growth and development of the company.
“I’m looking forward to having more time for other things, but I will also miss the excitement, the success and the people at Danielson. I am extremely confident in the further development of the Danielson business and I wish my successor and all members of staff the very best of luck!”
Rien Grotenhuis
Rien Grotenhuis has been appointed as the new managing director of Danielson as of May 1st.
After completing his studies in Industrial Engineering and Management Science, Rien was hired in 2003 as Production Engineer at Danielson. Since 2006, he has held the position of Production Manager. In this role, he has played a major part in the development of the business. At the same time, he was partly responsible as a member of the Management Team for policy, which he will continue to implement as director.
“My aim is to continue developing Danielson’s role within the SCHURTER Group to make it the Centre of Excellence in the field of touch screens. This will lead to an expansion of knowledge and production in Hardenberg. The competences and resources that the whole SCHURTER Group offers allow us to offer the European market the best possible solutions.”
