Maier Memorial Achievement Award during the 2017 EDS Summit in Las Vegas.

The award’s namesake, Robert W. Maier, founded the North American headquarters of EAO in 1977. Maier rapidly built the company into a premier supplier of HMI products. His indelible commitment and enthusiasm positioned EAO as a leader in the industry, and his passion for sales and marketing helped to create outstanding brand awareness in a highly competitive market place.

This accolade was presented during an invite-only EAO event during the EDS summit which took place May 16 through May 19. EDS is the premier annual event for the international electronic distribution industry, hosting approximately 5,000 individuals and representing more than 80 percent of the industry each year.
