Mobile command posts require scalable solutions that ensure data, signal and power transmission. The new Expanded Beam version of the AMC Series T combines the advantages of classic expanded beam (insensitivity to dirt, scratching and shock) with the high-performance of a physical contact.
Compared to conventional expanded beam technology, the design offers three to four times the number of optical fibres in the same space. Also, the innovative 3-in-1 locking mechanism gives OEMs a choice of plug locking mechanism at each connection point, whilst retaining the same bulkhead connector across the equipment.
ODU Mini-Snap connectors are designed to ensure secure, stable connections. With a 6.4mm interface diameter they can be installed in small spaces. Inserts are available to comply with user and patient protection prescribed by IEC 60601–1 (2 MOOP/ 2 MOPP), suiting them to medical applications requiring a circular connector with a metal housing.
