Charcroft Electronics Ltd., – a specialist distributor and manufacturer of electronic components – has appointed two new technically qualified, Field Sales Engineers with extensive industry experience.

‘Through collaboration with our customers, Charcroft sees the need for UK-based, technical support in the electronics industry. We are therefore increasing our external team to incorporate specialists across the UK to cover all electronic components.’ explains director, Debbie Rowland. “These specialists will help with design-in by supporting the new and innovative products from our extensive portfolio of franchised hi-rel components. They will also assist with managing obsolescence and offering alternatives, as well as problem solving for hard-to-find components.”

Based in East Anglia, Mark Goldsmith has 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, working for both manufacturers and distribution, including Norfolk Capacitors. With an HND in Electronic Engineering, Mark’s experience covers the oil and gas industry as well as wider experience of supporting passive components in component distribution. Mark has an interest in Northern Soul music and uses his collection as a volunteer DJ for a local radio station. This also gives Mark an active interest in supporting the ClarityCap range of audio and HiFi capacitors.

Located in the North East, David Peters is an engineering and manufacturing professional with an Honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering. David has 18 years of experience of designing-in passive components within the military, defence, medical, industrial and other hi-rel markets, and has worked at the Welwyn brand of TT Electronics. Having previously captained amateur and semi-professional football teams, David is a keen golfer and an avid Newcastle United supporter, and coaches football, as well as working with young people to mentor them in apprenticeships.
