Mouser Electronics is now stocking Digi’s ConnectCore 93 system-on-module (SOM). Based on the industrial NXP Semiconductors i.MX 93 applications processor, the device is designed for IoT products in medical, industrial, energy and transportation. The SOM suits automation, human-machine interfaces, equipment monitoring, edge computing and machine learning applications.
The SOM features up to two Arm Cortex-A55 cores, while a Cortex-M33 core, AI/ML Arm Ethos U65 NPU and NXP PMIC ensure maximum power efficiency. The SOM features pre-certified dual-band 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, plus seamless cellular modem and Digi XBee integration.
Housed in a surface-mount 40 by 45mm form factor, the SOM is designed to deliver industrial reliability for embedded devices. It also offers exceptional security and privacywith Digi TrustFence, an integrated device security framework that simplifies the process of securing connected devices.
The device supports an industrial operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, in addition to product lifecycles of 10+ years for embedded devices.
