Schurter’s DG11 and DG12 power entry modules, with increased IP protection, are now available for protection class II applications and in white/black.
The existing variants were designed exclusively as three- pole versions for protection class I applications. There are now two-pole variants which explicitly meet the higher requirements of protection class II. This also applies to the associated V-Lock mains connection cable for cord retention. The appliance inlet V-Lock power cord connector feature special sealing elements to achieve this IP protection.
Responding to customer requests, Schurter now offers the two power entry modules in white as well as commonly used black.
In medical applications, a higher IP protection rating is mandatory due to cleaning, disinfecting and even sterilizing equipment on a regular basis. Food processing has similar requirements.
